Default My wiper wont stop wiping...

its on the 0 position and wont stop moving, any thoughts?

just remember there are two wiper controls ... one on the stalk and the other on the dash ... oh perhaps i should ask car type .. the stalk could be broken also.

Just pull the fuse for now. I don't have my wiring diagram, but you probably have a loose wire or a bad contact. There is a separate circuit that causes the wipers to park, and one with a diode that causes it to return to the set position after you turn the switch off.

Dash? Where? I was wiping dash when it happened.

the intermitent rottary dial is up on the dash .. perhaps you hit that by accident ? it should " click " when turned off ...

oh...hahaha! What an easy fix. You'll be surprised to find out that you have an intermittant switch. The 3 position switch is an over-ride, so you can momentarily switch to continuous operation.

Funny for us but I am sure it was a heart stopper for Leo ....


a good and simple fix .. and we all need one of those now and again ....
