It's this last "XM4" option that is the one I've never seen before. Any German speaking RL'ers out there???
I from the Netherlands and i have a 2003 911 (996) 4S.
My car is original from Amerkia.
The certificate of birth of my car says:
Trading Partner 4300010
That is the same as your Porsche. Can you tell me what the Porsche dealer in Amerika this is.
Send it to porsche.911.4S@hotmail.com

I've searched in books and all over option code sites for info on this option code and can't find anything. I've also searched for pics or info on factory wood dashes in 911s and have come up with nothing. Add to that my crappy German abbreviation translation skills, and I'm left totally confused.
So I have two questions:
1. What is this option code?
2. Does anyone have any pictures of a late model 911 with a wood dash, either from the factory or aftermarket?
Thanks in advance!

Here's pics of the dash in question:

Hi There,
my 911 turbo, built in 1989, has the the same XM4 code ond the same wooden applications. It is a code of the PORSCHE EXCLUSIV program, so it`s not in the standard codelist. If you also find code 09981 or 09991 these say, that you car has been in this department and has options from this program.
Greetings from Germany
Eugen
On a side note, as a dealer tech years ago, a customer had his Boxster and 996 both retrofitted with wood. All pieces were ordered from Porsche. It took some time and boxes upon boxes of every wood part showed up. This may have been less exclusive on the newer cars and there was a choice of different wood species as well.
I've also retrofitted factory sourced carbon fiber on a 993.
