An RSA tribute, built to the fullest spirit of what they were trying to do, could be pretty economical if you start with a sound 964.

Yes, you can see the front fender script in place in the photo. I was just noting that it also had that script placed on the corner opposite rear quarter on the prototype, but that right rear script didn't make it into production and the front driver's side did.



However, it appears after 23 years the original idea still lives on in their styling department with a slight twist as can be seen on the 2010 GT3 RS. Script on the passenger front fender and drivers rear:

RSA tribute...ha, not much there beyond a 964 if you know what I mean. The manual steering bits would be the hardest to source, a tail and those economical door panels - the rest would go in the dumpster. Instant money.
I do like the cars a lot however.

I dunno, the RSA had a lot of options, and if you studied them carefully, you got a lot of free stuff, and it was a great value compared to the 911 turbo of the same era.
