It's shockingly clean. It's got all of the bells and whistles for 1981. Even cruise control and headlight washers. Love the sport seats. I love the tail, but is that factory? It's nice regardless.

No, The tail is not and I've never seen another like it. Its all a hard rubber material except for the grill.It also has climate control and an LSD. The motor and trans was rebuilt by Mike Bavaro on my watch no more than 10k ago. (Broken head studs and the trans was a previous shoddy rebuild)

Yeah its maybe 15k car. At least that's what I'd pay

Hmm...I dunno. Given a new motor and trans, limited slip diff, and the sport seats. We are getting awfully close to 18-19K in my opinion.

I don't know the story behind why this car was sold and now you wish to have it back, but keep in mind that this might be the one and only time you can have a chance to get the car back... The new owner may keep it for quite a while or you may not learn of it being for sale again...

What happened was I bought the Boxster and Anne said we don't need three Porsches. I put the SC on consignment at Bavaro's shop and I moped around the house for a few weeks until she said go ahead and keep it. I called Bavaro and he said "Its gone I just sold it."
