70,000 mile service
Had this service done plus a new exhaust at Redbone Garage here in Orlando and the work they did.....
The Car runs sooo smooth and pulls much harder than before. Definitely recommend this service if you haven't already.
Its just fluid flush on the transmission and the engine, replacing gaskets and valve timing, making sure everything is ship shape.
I also got my tec sheet for the track day at Sebring on the 3rd. Still cant wait!

I'm at 75,400 and she runs better than ever. I spent months not wanting to hit that 75,000 mark and it turns out she didn't even notice. We totally loaded up the trunk tonight with groceries. Actually drove better with the weight up front. Who knew?

The benefit was the exhaust no doubt .... Whne i do that basic tune up stuff to my car to my car .. which I do every year, i don't know if it pulls better or if I just feel better .. either way it is all good ....

My 140K service in progress....not only does the car run better, but this is the most enjoyable wrenching one can do on their 911. Valve adjust, oil & filter, new plugs, new air filter (larger cone), inspection and lubing the chassis. It's all good, fun and fairly clean.
"Unfortunately", I've got a wild hair up my rear, and Ruby is getting some "additional/fresh HP" this next year. This will require a bit more work on my part.

Ed, Are you going to keep the motronic with that work being done? I guess you have to in Cali. - sounds like a bunch of fun either way. I would have to suggest for the DIY'ers here that the rear service cover thats available thru various parts houses is a must. Get one with the a/c compressor pad. You will be very happy you did.

I don't know, I just started hatching the plan. My guess is I'd go the Andial Splitter and 964 dizzy route, but may look at something like the Electromotive XDi. I've been kicking myself for not bumping displacement and compression since I built the engine. I've really got to pull the motor and address a cam tower leak, which is why I'm thinking of the "while you're in there" on the P's and C's.

If anything, just get the headwork done and keep the plugs holes filled with 'drone" plugs. Thats the biggest step. Maybe some port/polish work while the heads are being worked on - perhaps you have already done that IIRC. Cams? Web Cam has some attractive choices that should work well with the injection.
I'm bored at work and living vicariously with your project. Don't mind me or my annoying questions.

Your way ahead of me. Never used the 964 distr. But I do like the Electromotive set up. I've never known of any problems as long as it's set up right.

Question: for those of us who have the stock bushings, will a lube/grease process be of equal benefit?
Best,
