86 Carrera electrical questions
1. There is a relay on the valance just in front of the battery with a 928 part number on it. I disconnected it and it seemed to not have any affect on any function except a little red light on the AC fan panel. What does it do?
2. This car had a ground quick disconnect. It was faulty and intermittent. During diagnosis I found the car would continue running with this device disconnected. In other words, no battery ground. It did not run right and when the headlights were turned on, it died. Running on a ungrounded battery is a new one for me.
