As Christmas approaches I remember back to picking up my 1977 911S on the front steps of the factory on Christmas Eve 1977. It was silver and the last "S" the factory sold. Interestingly it was US spec. As a member of the Germany Region PCA back then we went down to the factory often and were given tours along the line. By the way back then the vast majority of the Autobahn system was "no speed limit"

Why do things seem so much sweeter in retrospect? I love the white RS. And the engine shop with the cart full of triple throat webers.
