There are many combinations based on leg length, foot size and what feels comfortable to each individual. There's no way I could point my big toe at 1 and make it work.

OK looks like a new gas pedal is going to make my Santa list this year. After I get that in I'll see if I need to do any final adjustments on lowering the brake. Looks like all of these gas pedals are screwed in / bolted on to stock gas pedal so may also get a spacer in.

Just trying to get a feel of heel / toe by rev matching. I think I will try repositoning my foot more 11 \ 5and try to get gas with heel... have been braking more with ball of foot under big toe and trying to get to top of gas pedal with side of foot under pinky toe with a rolling motion. Foot, gas pedal or both are just a little narrow to consistently make this motion work.

Amount of space around the pedals has always been a little challenge for me and agree thast running shoes are just too big... did get a pair of driving shoes which certainly have the best driving feel and don't get in the way.

Size 15 4e, I brake with the ball of my foot and "roll" on the throttle with the side. If you lower your brake pedal to be even with the gas your brake will be below the gas pedal after a couple of hot laps as the brakes heat up.
