....purebreed needs to be defined? Next time you look at Ruby's deep crystal eyes tell me what you see? PUREBREED...there, I said it...P U R E B R E E D!!!
Doesn't get any simpler than that.
I doubt it if someone 20 years from now will be looking at the panasomething and evoke the same feelings when they look at those plastic catarac hazy opaque worn out lenses. Come to think of it...doubt if anyone will be keeping those panasomething that loong nor spend money restoring one.

The point I was trying to make is that anything Porsche makes today is a very distant relative of a pre-89 911. It's a fact of life. The Panamera is just another model in the stable.

Don't take me too seriously...I don't. Yep, another one in the horse stable..good for glue and dog food.

I understand the sentiment, but they need to put cash in the bank. I was saying the same thing as you when the Cayenne came out, but let's face it, they probably would have been in serious trouble if not for that model!

What surprised me was the sheer girth of this car .. looks like they dusted off the plans for the tiger tank and freshened it up a bit.

My 928 was extremely wide too, but didn't feel that wide when you got her going.

i thought they were similar in size but it is amazing , in my mind the Pano dwarfs the 928 when they are sitting next to each other .

The Pano's *** is simply ugly. They did not get it right. The Austin Martin Rapide is a 4 door that actually looks great. Common Porsche!

I'd buy one in a second if a $100,000 fell off of the tree in my backyard. Unfortuately, all the leaves have fallen and there is no money out there. I check everyday. You all are going to have me for this but I am looking at a used VW Phaeton as my alternate family car. We (the mrs.) drive a Volvo XC70 which she loves. I get the VW.

Wow..I just saw the Pano at a PCA 50th anniversary in Ct this past week end. Many have commented it looks better in person. My opinion is it looks better in photos. While the interior is spectacular the car looks bulbous and like a squished version of the Cayenne. Just my 2 cents. I certainly wouldn't entertain buying one.......however I would imagine the ride is very nice. I guess it depends on personal needs. With a grown family I now favor 2 seaters vs. larger vehicles.
