Default Porsche Racing Club at Sears Point 10/24-25... Come check out the cars

I posted this over on the DE/racing Forum but thought some here might also be interested. We expect to have somewhere between 40 and 50 Porsche racing cars. A large number of them will be 911 cars. Most of the owners/drivers will be happy to have folks come by and talk to them about their cars, sharing their experiences with engine, suspension, brake system and safety modifications, et cetera. What brake systems are on cars? Cage design? Bodywork? Suspension set-ups? We will have over 20 of the 911 "Spec" cars for you to check out. And I am sure some interesting GT cars, including some recent factory hot rods.

If you want to see some interesting track/racing cars and watch some fun racing, and you are in the area this weekend, come by and check it out. Anyone in the paddock can also attend the NASA BBQ Saturday night.

************************************************

This weekend (October 24-25) the Porsche Racing Club's (PRC) will host its seventh annual season-ender at Sears Point in Sonoma, CA, run under NASA sanction. This year for the first time ever, Historic Stock Car Racing Series (HSCRS) racers will join us with their own group. Experienced track drivers that aren't racing have the opportunity to participate as part of the included NASA Time Trial and High Performance Driver's Education (HPDE) groups.

The event will include:

Two Porsche Racing Club racing groups, with a practice/warm-up, qualifying sessions and sprint races both days.

One Historic Stock Car Racing Series (HSCRS) race group.

One group featuring Radical racing cars.

Mixed-marque NASA Time Trial and High Performance Driver's Education (HPDE) groups.

A NASA Enduro (Sunday only).

The PRC is sponsored by Ball Renegade TPD, Jerry Woods Enterprises, SCARGO Racing, Smart Racing Products, Fred’s Place in Mountain View, CA, Commercial Coverage Insurance, Rothsport Racing, IBP-Autosport, Jay Jarvis Autosport and several individuals.
