"1968 (A Series) Porsche 911 S, VIN code 11 835 001, 11835119. VIN code verifies that this is car 119 out of 742 ever made."

WooHoo, strike up the band, release the baloons, it's a rare car.

It's also probably the only 1 of 742 ever made to get this effed up.

Currently vehicle is not in running condition but with minimal parts, would make a great cruiser or a classic weekend ride on a Sunday afternoon
yeah, I dont think so!

No 911S for US market in 1968. The VIN No. 11 (911) 8 (1968) 3 (coupe) Fourth number would be "0" for S model.

I love that he thinks that the production stats, the fact that the car has only had 2 owners, and that (my favourite part) it's been stored in a heated garage will have any impact on the value of his Puick.

+1 on dropping a few zeros off that price...

Sad indeed.

you know i think pulling that excuse of an engine out of that car and selling it as a roller might actually INCREASE it's value ..

Like a wounded kitten you want to take it into your care and make it right, but then you look at the ridiculous price and you come to your senses again. Close call, eh?
