Default 1968 911 sunroof headliner installation question

When installing the new headliner, does the headliner cloth wrap around and glue directly onto the roof metal around the sunroof opening, or should there be a seal of some sort around the underside or the top side to glue the cloth to?

It is glued directly to the metal with contact cement from the factory. this is where it gets tricky to keep all the wrinkles out of the corner areas'. The factory cuts little triangels out of the corners to help contour the HL arount the sunroof corners. Pick up some cheap spring clamps(the small ones) and fit everything before you make the glue. Might want to take a look at a well done, or original, to see how they did it. A headliner is no place to skimp on the details. It took a lot to get where you are - don't get in a hurry now.
