Post any wrenches in Savannah, Georgia?

I'm in the process of moving from S. Florida to Savannah, GA. Can any Rennlisters recommend a good shop for my 911SC in the Savannah, Hilton Head, Bluffton area? Thanks!

Question

BUMP

Doesn't anybody drive Porsche's in Savannah? I know it's one of dem "Fur-in" cars, but I can't be the only guy with a 911 in the area! If I don't get an answer, I'm taking her to Pep Boys! <img border="0" alt="[oops]" title="" src="graemlins/oops.gif" />

You may want to ask around at Roebling Road, maybe one weekend when there is a PCA or SCCA event? There should be a 911 racing there at almost any event. Surely someone there could make a recommendation.

Good luck!

A lot of the guys I know in Savannah take their cars either to Jacksonville or Atlanta. Jax is closer but there are more shops in ATL. I know this isn't what your looking for but it will give you an idea of what to look for when you get there. I found a couple of small shops that would work on Porsche vehicles but neither were specific to the brand.

Try talking to Doc's Grrrage in Columbia,SC. They do tech inspections and participate in many of the PCA Roebling Road events. I would think they would know anyone in the area that would be capable of helping you out.

Thumbs up

Guys, I really appreciate the suggestions.

Coming from S. Florida, I'm actually looking forward to not seeing a Boxter and 996 at every stoplight! They are extremely common down here. An SC or Carrera is just an "Old Porsche" to the locals of Miami and Palm Beach. I'm loking forward to visiting Roebling Road.
