Fred: Been there, done that (the car in my avatar went bye-bye in my divorce). The light at the other end of the tunnel is not always a train coming at you, hopefully before too much time passes you'll be able to smile again, then laugh.

That incredible car received a 3.6 liter transplant, was run in mainly SoCal POC events for a number of years, then sold again (I'm told that it was replaced by a Cup Car). Apparently the car is still black, and currently owned by the owner of a shop in San Diego County, but that's where the trail went cold. Thanks for asking!

OK, update time.
Capital One is processing the lien release (RI does not title vehicles 10+ years or older). 72 hours processing time (dayum they type slow down in Texas).
So I should have the release by early next week. As soon as it's in-hand, she's up on eBay.
As for $500 beater, it's looking more like a $1500 beater.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
'95 Volvo 850 Turbo Wagon is the likely winner right now. Should be a decent vehicle to make it through the winter with, and see how finances are in the spring.
