I'm posting links here to a series of threads that have been on the Pelican 911 Tech BBS lately, about the fast-paced reconstruction (and, of course, improvement) of my early 911 after an unscheduled appointment with a concrete wall at Laguna Seca.
I'm cross-posting this all here because there are some very sharp 911 enthusiasts on this board who don't participate in the Pelican board, and -- the way I figure it -- the more input I get, the better.

I watched the crash video...it's amazing how one small mistake can escallate into a catasrophe. Glad to hear you made it out alright.
Have you thought about making a webpage documenting the building of this car? It certainly would be interesting!
Something similar to this: <a href="http://darklotus.dyndns.org/A2TDI/" target="_blank">http://darklotus.dyndns.org/A2TDI/</a>
If you wanna compile the photos and write ups, I could throw it together for you...just copy the script that I wrote for the A2TDI page.

Jack, I have been following your posts on both boards. I am glad to see the progress BBII has made. I look forward to many more updates, pics, and to see her back on the road soon.
