It really isn't that bad. I went a couple of years ago for all three days-never felt like a cog or head of cattle. I'm of the same phobia against crowds.

Keep in mind there is LOTS of car stuff on this peninsula that week, so people get drawn to other events too.

Can't wait! I was just looking over the entry list, pretty darn good! Plenty of 908's, 917's, 906's, 910's, a BUNCH of 962's with some 956's (about 19 total) in for good measure....and that is JUST SATURDAY! The 935's, RSR's and 934's run Sunday, which I'll have to miss.

Plenty of other Porsches leading up to these, not to mention all of the other wonderful cars. This will be my second Historics, the last one I went to all three days, and still could've seen more. One day will be tough.

Not really.....she's phenominal for 2-3 hour drives, preferably thru the hils or back country-not traffic on the 101, and track days.

Yesterday was a slow crawl thu LA and Santa Barbara. I had plenty of A/C, Sirius and was able to keep up on business, all with an automatic transmission.

Not to mention my suspension and multiple fused discs in my lower back....

Ha, Ha, I meant frustrating for the car not for you Ed

I'm heading down to Santa Cruz tonight to get an early start tomorrow. Man, this is going to be fun!
