1988 Project Porsche 911 Targa (G50) for sale
I am Selling a 1988 Porsche 911 Targa that has front end damage. (I wasent the one who got in the accident, Fortunatly)
Silver Exterior, Dark Blue Interior.
Pro's about the car.
Desirable 1988 911 Targa with G50 Transmission
Low 76K miles
Very nice inside
No oil Leaks.
Runs and Drives
Clean Title
Cons.
Damaged front end.
Passenger door also has a wave.
Passenger quarter panel was lightly effected.
Asking $10K, Car will remain Clean Title once fixed. I believe it stayed Clean title because Insurance company appraised the damage not enough to "Total" the car because I bought it from a insurance Auction.
Im sure you guys know these cars are worth anywhere from $18K-$24K with this Mileage and in good condition.

That is not insignificant damage-the fact that the impact damaged the door and the quarter on the passenger side says that car is well bent. The fact it doesn't have a salvage title is irrelevant-it probably is some kind of technicality or loophole. Seems to me that the low miles and all your other "Pros" are pretty well negated at this time.

Its not like im trying to "trick" someone into buying it.
I posted it and the person can make a decision on there own, I can part it out it wont matter much to me.

Its OK, Im just gonna give this a couple weeks and then part it out if no one wants a project.
I feel the price is fair. The car is fixable and its a pretty nice low mileage G50 911.

well it is a shame as it looked to be a nice example just prior to impact. Now I am afraid it looks like a part it out Job.
I am not sure what it would cost for two fenders, a hood, lower valance, both headlights, trim rings, front amber lenses, front smile. Door, any suspension damage and straightening required, and that is just what I can see from the limited pics.
It is a shame to see that is for sure ....
So wht's the story ? is it just one you picked up like this or is it ( or was it ) your car ?
I love a good story
