CONVERTING 1981 911 SC TO 1973 RS BODY KIT
Hi there
I've just joined Rennlist and hopefully will enjoy many hours of conversation with many Porsche enthusiasts around the world. I am starting to plan the conversion of my 911 Sc to a 1973 Carrera RS body. Is there anuone that can give me some advice. If you are able to give your imput just reply and I'll tell you what my questions are. This si my first time on the forum so I need all the help I can get. I have lots of questions. If anyone replies I'll continue with the discussion tomorrow as in my part of the world its 1h00 am. Goodnight everyone and thank you if you reply.

Race Car
Lots to consider. There are a number of people who have done this but it can get pretty involved. Of course the bumpers and front fenders as well as the hood. I belive the front clip has to be replaced to get the latch for the long hood to work. For authenticity the rear quarters and rear valence need to get swapped too. Then there are lots of bits like the mirrors/trim etc. It can be a big job to do right. Personally I have never done this retrofit so you may want to do some more digging. I know there are some who have converted early '90 964 chassis to RS look. I love the idea if you follow through with the interior etc.

Mauro,... Welcome
There is lots of information floating out there. Just to try to get you going, check out the following thread:

There are a lot of links within that thread to check out as well ^^
Then you will probably come up with some more specific questions.
Good luck... Post up some pics of your SC, everyone here loves pictures.

www.rennspd.com is not a rennlist sponsor, but is rather local to me. I know that his product is top quality and is often used by guys on this site and pelican.
TRD is also a good so cal source.
