Post Euro Carrera engine? serial number help

Hello

I spotted a 911 with engine number 6650946 supposed to be a euro carrera, 911/83 210hp but in the books I have this serial is not covered, the 911/83 goes to 6650712 and then pick up on 6660001 for the 930/02 (euro 3.0 carrera).

Transmission number: 7152722, can anyone enlighten me on this ( don't have transmission numbers in my book)

Can anyone help me on this one?

The engine is not original on the car, the car is a 75 us/spec 911 S.

Thanks, Sergio

665***** is supposed to be a ROW 911/86 '75 Carrera 2.7 mfi 210hp engine. They are sort of rare.

666***** is a 930/02 '76 Carrera 3.0

Thanks for the replies, Bills...

Engine number: trouble is that according to my records the last 911/83 (2.7 MFI 210HP) had a number of 6650712 used in the 75 ROW Carrera. And the first number on the 76 ROW Carrera was 6660001. The Number on this engine being 6650946 falls in between.

Can we safely say that all engines begining with 665 are 911/83?

Transmission: My records tell me that the
915/06 was used on 74, 75 911/83 (ROW Carrera). This car seems to have a 915/40 which was used on the rest of 911 of those years. Is the 06 stronger than the 40. Seems like the 911/83 engine and 915/40 would not be a good match? engine too powerful for transmission perhaps.
