Flash Red Color?
Was there ever an early 80s color called Flash Red?
I'm looking at a car that really looks like guards red, but the owner tells me that it is flash red. If anything the car seems a bit brighter than guards.

No flash red. Darker reds, like ruby red, garnet red, or kiln red. What is the paint code? Depending on the year it's on the door jamb or on a sticker in the front trunk. Can't find anything, possibly repainted then. With the VIN, call Porsche customer service at 800-PORSCHE, give them the VIN and they can tell you what the original paint was when shipped.
