Where are the Porsche classifieds ?
Hello,
I am pondering the idea of selling my 1976 911s I purchased from Stephen Kaser a couple of years ago. Some of you know the car, it's the Talbot Yellow Targa with the 1967 S block and four wheel coil overs. I am looking for European websites to list the car, with the market looking the way it is here in the states.
My wife wants a C class vert or a 330ci, Im wondering if I should sell the Turbo and keep the Targa??

Wow, nice Targa. Very nice. Are those Bosch motorcycle H4s in the sugar scoops? Those headlights look very different for some reason. Is that a rollbar tucked inside the targa hoop? That 911 looks so proper and so dialed in, it would be a shame to see it go.

Seems like marketing and selling overseas would be very difficult and time-consuming... do you really think it is worth the extra effort vs. selling it here in the US?

Sorry, no rollbar. The headlamps are H4, it may be the light that makes them look "funny'. Thank you for the comments, I just may sell the Turbo first, if I sell either one of them. I doubt i'll ever replace the quality of this targa.

Believe it or not, the car has the original paint. I have three Porsche guys crawl all over the car and they only found the lower front valance was touched up. I did replace the rear deck stickers (due to some edges curling). The best part is This is exactally what Stephen Kaspar told me when I bought the car, . . . man, I miss his advice . . .

I love the vice-grips LOL
I really really want this car. Thoughts of have been haunting me since the OP. I've been looking at various 2.7L cars for the last couple of days. I've always liked the '74 since I passed up a Fly yellow original Carrera(40k original miles) for 11,500. (That car is in a high profile collection now).
Why can't I just have what I want!!!

With exchange rates not being as attractive for Euros looking over here now like they were 18 months ago, and the fact that the World is screwed up financially, I'm not so sure that there is any hidden pot of gold across the Atlantic. But, good luck.

Hi,
you might want to use the biggest German website for used cars:
www.mobile.de
(I know as I am looking for a 911 Targa from US - unfourtunately the year does not fit!)
Let me know if you need help with the translation!
Best regards
