I don't know what color it is...but I am so tired of seeing black, gray, or silver on the 997 site that I just love seeing colors like that.

Thanks for the comments. This car was on ebay a couple days ago but it looked to have some rust (and other) issues. Had a low buy-in price though @ $8,750. Tempting as a project car but in my brief correspondence with the owner it would seem to need a healthy cash infusion to get back to good shape.

I don't think Diamond blue has much mauve to it. It takes on either a blue or gray hue depending on the light, with only a hint of purple/mauve.
