Doug, I completely relate to your satisfaction from helping others and keeping beautiful 911s on the road at the same time. I say "good job!".

Dude, I know it. It's my turn to transform my tame, innocent-looking, little cruisie-about-town Cabriolet into a menacing fire-breathing dragon dedicated to terrorizing the streets and track. WOO HOO!!

You've inspired me to pay it forward too. I've got some stuff from my race seat installation I'll give away.

And, being a vet, I always have free kittens to give away too.

I'm not that brave. The only battles I fight are with pissed off calicos and snarling Rottweilers.

Now comes the fun part.

If any of you come across a headlight lens you could hook me up with.....I have a little tinny itty bitty micro sized pin hole in one of mine.

I know, I know....the shame

No, it is not for sale....well, unless you wave about 22 large in my face.

Besides, I'm hoping to get to drive it again someday.

What ever was stock on a US version M/Y '88. I don't even know if it's just the lens or if the entire fixture has to go. I remember taking the rings off, putting in new bulbs, and replacing that rubber ring or rubber band that seals the ring, but for the life of me can't remember if the lens was removable.

right now I have a little piece of scotch tape over it.

It should say H4, or whatever on the lens. Don't assume it wasn't changed by the PO.
