Rusnak is a trouble maker, plain and simple. In a moment of frustration and emotional distress I may have blurted out that she was up for sale. Something to the effect: 1988 Porsche 911 Cab 74,500 miles $22,000 O.B.O.. Mr. Z could have her for $16,000 and Spencer would have to come up with an offer of at least $25. I even posted my phone number.

Hi Douglas,

Yeah, the lines being non-DOT stamped makes me less than comfy using them (which is likely why others feel the same, and some have posted failures, IIRC). So if no DOT markings, you can pass them along to the next taker. If they have DOT marking, though, I'd love to have them. In any event, can I take the ATE fluid off your hands! BTW, thanks for your generosity!!!

Edward, I just had to go look at them again and they are D.O.T. certified lines. Federal safety standard 106 tested to 3000PSI

Doug,

Thank you for the cat bypass and if you want to get rid of the airbox, I'll take it too. While I'm thankful, I'm not sure I feel good about this.

I'll call you later.

Shannon, you are doing me a service. Not the kind where you stick a hose up my nose and force me to fart, but a real, let the part do it's job, kinda service. I picked up that bypass from a fellow Rennlister at a local race shop for $25 and got my monies worth.

For a good year and a half that bypass caused me a wicked sore neck, white knuckles, hair loss, and proof that they will do 143. Please take it from me.

The chip on the other hand....From my cold dead hands.

Hey Douglas,

Awesome, man! So yes, if I can have the lines and fluid, that'd be great! Let me know about shipping, or what you'd like me to do. Thanks, bud ...really appreciate it! ...not to mention your generosity to us all here. You embody the RL spirit....kudos, bro!

Just doing my best to clear some pent up anger. When ever my life gets difficult, ok, when ever the difficulty is just way beond what I can do, I give stuff away or find my way into some sort of charity, and all is right with the world. In this case with the bypass being a total score, I figured I better be nice to more than one person. I'm in the IE if you are close we could get together. What ever you want I can do.

Doug, I have those very same brake lines, installed by the PO of my car. They are excellent and will provide years and years of flawless service.

Any parts that you need or want for your 911, Doug?

Hey Douglas,

Nothing heals one's hardhip better than giving to others. Very good to hear that you are doing well!

I'll PM you on the parts.

Edward
