Who else is going? You can order direct from the Grand Prix folks @ (888) 82-SPEED, or online thru the evil company Ticketmaster and get ripped off.

At any rate, the good race is on Saturday 4/18 , the Indy cars race Sunday. But, Saturday will have the Indy cars out practicing and qualifying as well as the Speed GT Series and Indy lites, so it will be a full day.

The Porsche Car Corral is $20, but you gotta park somewhere, and based on other ALMS events I've gone to, it should be a bit more convenient that "civilian" parking.

I'm leaving Escondido at about 6:00am, so with a triple shot Latte stop on the way, I should roll in about 7:30 am. The ALMS race green flag is at 4:15, and will be over at 6:00. So, a full day of Porsche racing nirvana. Go Lizards!

My brother-in-law has an apartment he rents out to international high rollers about 15 floors above the starting grid. You can go out on the balcony and look directly down at the numbers and boxes on the street below. Unreal.

High rollers = they don't own any water balloon launchers.

I'm going to try for that one as well.

I'm also going to the Monterey Historics in August, which will be made even better by Porsche being featured this year. And it isn't like they aren't awesome without that bonus.
