Default Help with '89 C2 Oil Cooler Removal

Greetings,

I'm removing my oil cooler (trying to!) on my '89 C2 to replace leaking seals. I've removed the right weeel, oil line from the tank to the cooler, the shroud along the valve cover, but can't seem to get to the top 2 nuts, in fact I can't even feel them. There is another shroud on the front of the cooler which but seems to be connected to 2 small lines up in there, so I'm unable to remove that. Are the nuts accessible from inside the engine compartment only?

Thanks! Greg

89 C2? C2's weren't produced until 90, but there was an 89 C4. Got a picture of your car? 84-89's are called Carrera's, but not C2's.

Yeah, I read the Pelican Parts article - no joy. I think it was written for an SC.

Thanks anyway!
