Default Someone got a great deal...

I had been watching this 930, low miles, on ebay.. Made an early bid then thought it would go higher than what I would be able to justify. Really thought it would go for somewhere around $35k... Whoever won (someone on here?) got a great deal!

Not bad.

A few weeks ago a 2001 996 Twin Turbo with 45,000 miles went for $32,000

This is a beautiful 930 for 36k !!

I came across it on Pelican this morning too. I figured the price would get run up near the auction's end time, but I guess not. Great deal on what appears to be a very nice 930.

I like the part where the wrench thinks it was better to leave the leaking oil return tubes leak, "The oil return lines drip ever so slightly and my mechanic has opted to wait to replace these as he stated the chassis lubrication is beneficial to the vehicle."??????

Another good turbo deal, I checked this out the other day, real nice even though it has a Tiptronic.

well actually it would stop your heat exchangers from rusting out... so they would be perfectly preserved when you picked them out of the charred pile that used to be your 911

Dont assume that just becasue the ebay auction ended with a "sale" that the car actually sold. Here are a few classics ive gotten from winning bidders on some of the 911's or 930's I have sold on ebay over the years.

"I'll be in your area in 2 weeks to come check it out"

"My bid was based on my 951 plus 10k in cash and my 951 is worth X" <<< by the way the add clearly said no trades.

I have bought 2 or 3 cars off ebay and always followed through but I understand there are those who do what you describe. Idiots...
