Ed, My ignition distributor is Bosch no. 0 237 301 009. My fuel distributor is 0 438 100 097. My motor is a type 930/10, an '83 high compression Euro SC motor, with the late crankcase (no sump plate or removable oil pickup strainer).

My car seems not to have a fuel cutoff. On my old '83, which was a US market car, the rev limiter was a fuel cutoff, and I think that it was behind the instruments, in the dash. My best guess is that the fuel cutoff was substituted for the ignition cutoff to protect the catalytic converter.

To my surprise, the ignition cutoff in the Euro motor is much smoother than either the fuel cutoff in my old '83, or the ignition cutoff in my old '73.

Hope that helps.

Tom, you lucky dog. You have the 930/10 motor I want. They are the best sc motors, and I think their hp was undereported by the factory. As far as rotors, I am thinking about trying that euro one. You see, in my 80 sc with a backdated fuel and ignition distributor (78-79), I never felt the rev limiter cutting in.
