Default Eagles Canyon DE

Just got back from Eagles Canyon Raceway PCA Driver's Ed this past weekend. It was my first time out. If you haven't had your 911 out on the track yet...DO IT! It's what they are born to do! If anyone else that was there is on here hope to see you at the next one at Motorsport Ranch.

I pity you

(that is to say, I went on the track last year and this year installed race seats and harnesses... am buying a head and neck restraint... turbo tie rods are going on... steel lug nuts... in search of track wheels and tires... Performance Friction brake pads... I flush brake fluid more often than some people bathe... well, you get the idea)

Welcome to the track!! You'll never look back.

Haha slippery slope indeed. Night I got back I purchased tires, Tire Rack has Bridgestone RE-O1R on closeout for $59 each ($147 originally) so I figured at that price they are worth trying.

Be careful with those tires. I saw that offer also - the closeout tires have a build date of 2005, so they are already 4 years old.

Eagle's Canyon is a Sunday drive without worrying about red lights in the mirror....wait until you get to do MSR: both versions. Quite a bit more fun and a lot more technical.

Already signed up for MSR April 25-26. Peter Schutz (Porsche CEO '81-'88) will be making a guest appearance. Looking forward to shaking the hand of the man who saved the 911.
