Default Valve stem seals: teflon or viton?

Both are available and cost about the same. Does anyone have any experience or opinion on which is best? Pros/cons of each?

I use Viton for most applications.

Teflon is a good lubricant, and thus has a low friction, however it also has poor wear resistance and seems to me to be a poor choice for for a long life seal.
