Mid Engine Conversion
Has anyone done one? Is it possible to flip the engine to the rear seats?
I doubt porsche transmissions are like this, but on the VW bugs you could flip a gear in the transaxle and make the motor a mid-engine for a dune buggy....

Its been done,..........although its a challenge for many reasons,... 
The ring gear in the 915 transmission can be installed on the other side for mid-engine usage, too.
