Just checking to be sure we're still on for the dyno session at Deman's this Sat?

Also, that's on the west side of the river?

Yup its still on. I mean I haven't talked to Deman but they haven't called me to cancel or anything.

Directions are here: <a href="http://www.demanmotorsport.com/contact.html" target="_blank">http://www.demanmotorsport.com/contact.html</a>

There's a couple threads going over on the 924/944 board. No real new information, Rich glickel posted some directions coming from jersey.

Bill,

I believe you'll just come down the Thruway. Exit at Nyack (that's about a mile AFTER West Nyack/Palisades Center). Bear left on the exit ramp and turn left at the end of the ramp (there's a traffic light) onto Route 59. That will take you into the village. Turn left at McManus Pharmacy, Park St., and quick right turn onto New Street. DeMan's is on the left, middle of the block.

See you tomorrow.

I had to rework the order on orders from Deman.

He would like all the 944s, 951s, 968s and 911's grouped together to speed the process.

He expects each car will take ~30 minutes.

Also, everybody has to sign a waiver. So if your car breaks its not his fault.

The first car can pull right into the shop, the second car up into the driveway. All the others on the street. Then we'll continue doing that...

Here is the new Order, please take note. I apologize for the last minute change. Those who requested a certain spot, I tried to keep it in about the same spot.

Thanks for a great day guys! The results were about as expected of a non chipped 964, 212 hp at the rear wheels limited to 6500rpm(I'm an old lady about over revs) now planning for the next round of mods.

Bill,

Well, at least your clutch is healthy.

Overrevs? In my case, overrevving became the perfect excuse for converting from 3.2 to 3.6L!

According to the boys at DeMan's, my clutch started "slipping" at 200 H.P. this morning. The car drives fine, but I really won't chance driving up to the Glen and experiencing problems with the clutch either on the road (probably not likely) or on the track (possible).

They are gonna try to get a new clutch into the car by tuesday afternoon so I can run at Watkins Glen this coming wednesday and thrusday.

Sorry you didn't get to hear my engine at 7,000+ rpm. Great to see you again!

Again my condolances, I hope they get you going in time. Let us know the results when they do your "stock" 964 <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" /> I do have a wav file of your aborted run. If you want I can forward it to you.

Did they ever try to run the car again in the afternoon?

I hear Deman is offering free dyno runs with every clutch job

New clutch installed, dyno today revealed 258 HP at rear wheels. Rule of thumb is 15% loss through drive train, so about 298 HP at the flywheel. Torque=242.

We had guesstimated about 285-290 HP after the conversion in December, so we were a little low.

Adrial, if I send you print out via snail mail, can you post the results here for me? Send me your mailing address and I'll send you the dyno print out tomorrow afternoon, or after I return from Watkins Glen.

Rich, not bad at all

You've got E-mail...

I think if you get the raw dyno file (the .pts file) from Rick you will be able to post them directly. I'd love to get my hands on mine because someone on the 924/944 board would like to see it to better analyze my results. Do you think he'll mind if I ask for it?

thanks,
Adrial
