Interesting 1975 w/ 3.6

The bottom side looks kinda rough. It would take a lot of work to make it right. That Haynes manual ruins it. That should take 2k of the price right from the start.

Funny that is exactly what i thought .... a Bentley would have served him better .. That rear wing makes the car look like a giant bottle opener. With the wing off i think it would be a cool little car . I did notice the rust underneath too though.

Looks like someone spent a lot of money they will never see again. Could be worth the money if the conversion was done right and the 3.6 is sound. The corrosion on the front suspension pan as well as all the brake parts, suspension, engine fasteners, fan housing, etc. would be enough to put me off. This car sat out or was driven in a salt environment. Not good for a car that's not fully galvanized. Don't really like the cosmetic treatment but that could be fixed. Overall, I'd pass.

I've known that car for a number of years.. although I haven't seen it in quite awhile. The owner didn't have a problem spending the money. The 3.6 is sound and the conversion was properly done.. by a compitent and respected shop.
Appears that the sellers have nothing to hide as they have numerous pictures, disclosure of known issues, contact infromation for further discussion.. and didn't bother to make the engine/tranny all clean and purdy for ya!
My biggest issue would also be that it's a non-galvanized 75. However, again.. they show pics on the lift and there does not appear to me much jumping out at you. The areas in the pan could just be surface where the undercoating/protection is worn off... now that I think about it, I'm almost sure the pan had been previously replaced.
Oh, and for a 35+ year old cat I would think there would be some "corrosion on the front suspension pan as well as all the brake parts, suspension, engine fasteners, fan housing", especially if the car has been driven... and this guy enjoyed his car.
For the average person contempalating a 3.6 converison.. by the time you purchase the engine and all that goes with it and get it into the car you already have, it'll cost you more than this one can be purchased for.
It ain't perfect..but it's a screamer for that money! Another set of wheels, a Duck tail and some seats. Hmmm.
Oh, and I have no affiliation with the car, the sellers etc.. but I'm just saying!!

I'm not 100% sure a buyer is ahead of the curb if they want a 3.6.
onboost's comment about not "purdy" may not be totally acurate: that engine would appear to have numerous oil leaks, judging by what I see to be a lot of fresh oil in some bad places.
