Default installing wevo motor mounts

Planning to swap these next weekend after my oil change.

Would appreciate any guidance here... Is it just jackup/support the engine and install one at a time? If there is any guidance/nuances/lessons learned from others it would be great to know in advance. Not replacing the trans mounts for now, but probably in the future.

TIA Rick

i just replaced mine with Wevo's. Do it just like you said; jackup/support and one at a time. i did reuse the original bolts. also I had to lift up, by hand, on the engine cross bar to start the bolt thread. all in all it was a piece of cake. a 1 beer job.

definitely easy Job. I did both of mine at the same time , took both out , but I did it for a reason. If you do it one at a time all will line up again no problem.
I put a piece of wood between the jack and the sump plate, lifted the motor a few inches to take the weight. undid the bolt, crawled under the car to get the washer that fell
put new one in.

The reason i did both when i first got the car was i wanted to see if the body had been tweaked at some point. My feeling was that if I undid both , took both mounts off , when I put the new ones on it should line up perfectly if the body was straight . it did .. phew....

but on a somewhat related question I was wandering around the concour show and saw 50% of the big cup washers faced up and the rest faced down ... never did figure out which ones were right. So i faced the top one down and the bottom one up to "cup " the mount.

Probably one of the easiest things you'll come across.

Thanks, that's helpful. Seems those bolts are where any problems will pop up - if any.
