Default fox wheels (linea corse)

Has anyone tried these. Curious how they hold up and if they will clear big reds? http://www.lineacorse.com The fox model.

You get what you pay for. I've read of several reports of runout issues. Search on Pelican, there are pages of heated debate on them. They are gravity cast wheels, which has been fodder for numerous debates on them as well. Spend a few more $, and get a set of 17" Fuchs repros that are forged, and that Jeff has worked to fit over big brakes.

Sent jeff an email today. Had been looking for a pair of ruf 17". Jeffs wheels will be a good second choice.

I'd think Jeff's wheels would be the hands-down first choice. I committed to a set before they ever started machining, just knowing he'd do a great job. Unless, of course, you want the RUF look. For the $ ($1200? 1400?) for the Rota's you posted, or whatever name they go by now, I'd rather pop for the extra $1K and get a wheel that is strong, lightweight and repairable.

I'm one of those on Pelican that has had runout issues...on 2 sets. Get Jeff's wheels, if not, get some used Kinesis, Fikse or BBS.
