A bad memory or a lack of even the minimum knowledge about fuel injection systems?
Like, isn't that the purpose of the fpr (fuel pressure regulator), ace?
"You can test is by installing a fuel line with a cutoff valve in the between the fuel fpr and the return line going back to the fuel tank. If the pressure is too low, then gradually cut off the valve while watching the gauge and running the fuel pump. The pressure should jump. If it does not, then your fuel pump could be bad."

Wrong! Blocking the return line does NOT check the fuel pressure regulator,
only the max pressure of the fuel pump. Doing that can damage rubber fuel
lines and seals. Let's not mis-lead Rennlist members as is typically the case
over there on the "dark side".
By the way, maybe take a high school grammar class in addition to H.S. auto shop.

The fuel pump does NOT get power in the "run" position of the ignition switch
prior to "cranking". So turning the ignition switch to "run" and waiting has NO
effect on fuel pressure. It's NOT like the older CIS system on some vehicles
where the pump is powered for a few seconds at the "run" position.
So what's with this 911 forum that posts by many are usually misleading,
which is not the case on the 964/993/986/996 forums on Rennlist?
Bottom line: This 911 forum is becoming like the "dark side" forum not
only with misleading info but with gratuitous personal slams.

The thing is, Loren knows quite a few things more than anyone around here.
He might not want friends or to look cool, which is fine with me.
He could be a child molester posting from the prison library, I don't give a **** as long as the info is accurate.
Sure if you had to choose who to get info from on the phone based on personal feelings you wouldn't pick Loren over Pete or Steve. But he is the authority on Bosch as far as I know.
Don't get me wrong, If I he pissed me off I'd be a little tweaked also. But I try not to live vicariously through a 19 inch flat screen.

If you can keep licking Loren's boot and will wait for a golden nugget of wisdom to randomly fall into your lap, then more power to you. I choose to use Rennlist as a learning and dicussion forum. Not a competition to see who is the mostest rightest. I pretty much don't care if Loren shows up or not because most of the time his posts are just wing ding cutdowns straight from the Dark Side.

I find the whole thing quite funny .. it is Friday afterall. It is true Loren knows his stuff, he is also quite the ******** , and i am sure he would be the first to admit it. But i do find it pretty funny to read. .. most of us know which posts are right and which are wrong and correct people in a little more polite fashion. i don't hold anything against anybody but you gotta give the guy credit, he has some pretty funny zingers.

The whole thing about Lori is that after seeing 'its' excrement for a few years now, you pretty much figure out 'it' is a COMPLETE A$$HOLE and really has no place interacting with the public. It just makes me sick to see its holier-than-thou posts and insults to almost everyone on a given thread.

Loren, you do almost NOTHING BUT LEVEL PERSONAL ATTACKS.
What about your own actions do you not comprehend? Haven't you learned by now that people are responding to what you write? Try cutting out the BS and I'll bet you that the way people respond to your posts will change 100%.
Go ahead Loren, I am making you a challenge. Try being curteous and you'll see that people will treat you with respect and fairness.
