I bought my 88 cab a few years back. The previous owner had painted the brake calipers blue to match the blue cab top.

I replaced a brake caliper this week and it is silver.

Can anyone show me a picture of what stock brake calipers looked like in 1988 so that I can restore my calipers please? If you know where I can get the right paint for it, that would be awesome.

These calipers came cadmimum-plated from the factory. I think you could safely remove the blue paint if you find someone with a soda-blasting machine.

The only way you'll get it to match it is by either replating or buying another new caliper.
