Well...I'm new to Rennlist, but not new to Porsches, and especially 911s. Over 20 years driving Porsches.

This is an opportunity for me to point out some things, purely from my own point of view:

I am drawn to Rennlist in order to help and seek tech help.
I like talking about Porsches.
I like to benefit others with my Porsche hobby.
I'm thinking about shelling out the bucks to support Rennlist,
but before I do, I want to see how the group fits with my
desires to do the above.

But:

I hate petty bullshiznit spats. I am not casting accusations at anyone here, just in general web boards bring out the catty side of some people.

I quit Pelican's board because of the negativity there got out of control.

I figure I've been into Porsches longer than any of these boards and I'll be into Porsches long after they are all gone. I hope this one is not in the process of being gone.

You can't do anything worthy in life by being negative. You have to be positive to do anything that is hard, anything that is worth doing. You can't help others by being negative.

Have no fears rusnak. This thread is an anomaly. Normally things are very civilized here. Much slower & politer than that 'other' place.
