^ That's a very good way of putting it! It's like dropping the motor. I've seen my friend Tony do it in a few hours total with a regular floor jack. I'd never attempt it that way because I like the stability of an atv jack. He is doing what he knows, and he's quite right to do so.

I use the feeler guage as well, however based on what I see with DIY'er valve adjustments and the need for a professional hand to correct them, this tool gives someone with limited experience a better chance.
