1973 RS Cooling Fan Finish?
I am re-building my 2.7 1973 RS engine and wanted to refurb the engine cooling fan. Anyone know what the original finish was on these when they left the factory?

Mine was gray (Natural metal color) with a clear coating that gave it a kind of gold tone look. When I did my rebuild, it was polished and the inclosure was painted Red with an epoxy paint (power coating didn't exist at the time).
