Default 76 911 bumper conversion - advice please

A friend of mine just purchased a 76 & wants to convert the bumpers from the DOT impact versions to a lighter carrera rs style look.

Can someone direct me to a thread or 2 that might provide information on the process / products / advice necessary?

I've searched but not really coming up with much.

Thanks

Here's the thread you should probably start with. If you're talking about changing from the look of the impact-bumper cars to the pre-impact-bumper cars, then you need to change more than just the bumpers. The earlier cars also had unique fenders, signal lights, horn grilles, and a longer hood (you can get fiberglass backdating hoods where the latch has been repositioned to work with impact-bumper tubs). In the back there are two bumpers and a license panel, and you need to cut out the old one.
