Talking Finally here!!!

Hi all

I have finally collected my car from Barcelona, Spain and drove it back to Germany - a 15 hour trip over two days. I am absolutely ecstatic and love the car to bits.

Please visit my web for more photos and if you have a 911 webpage that you would like to include in The Legendary Porsche 911 Webring, please follow the link from the bottom of my page. Thanks.

Well, talk to you all again.

Elias,

I just bougt my '83 SC in Barcelona within two days of your purchase (25/5) and I believe also from the same dealer (Julia Provenza, your car and mine are still advertised in Autoscout 24 http://www.autoscout24.es/search/garagedetail.asp?id=2972&language=spa ). Mine is the 83 SC incorrectly listed as coupe although it is a Targa.

I also visited a dealer in Valencia (Autolec?) and my wife almost convinced me to get a '88 turbolook (too spectacualr for my taste, I wanted a daily driver).

Congratulations on your purchase.

Saludos

Hola Paco!!

the world is a "hankerchief" - as we say in Spain!

you know, Carlos who also frequents this board, also bought his car from Julia Provenca! so that is three of us. You must have seen my car there on the 25th then, right?

I also contacted the guy in Valencia, but he sent me a couple of photos and they looked so unappetitizing - anyhow, this one was pefect - 1988, black on black, air/con, etc.

I am really pleased and although the air/con has ceased to work, I believe its only a question of the switch or something really simple... but will have to wait to have a look at it another time.

Howard: I am in BadSoden, which is about 50km East of Frankfurt am Main, so if you happen to be coming near this area, we can meet and even, maybe organise a trip to the factory together. Ary you bringing your car(s) over?

well, cheers to all, and yes, I have been wearing a GRIN from ear to ear since getting my "BB" (Black on Black)
