Question "Speedster" RPM guage OEM or aftermarket?

Is the above "Speedster" RPM guage OEM or aftermarket?
If factory-made, does anyone have a part # for a 964 / 993 version?
If non-OEM, source?
(Color not important - black background preferred.)
Thanks in advance!

It looks like an aftermarket gauge face- I don't recall ever seeing "speedster" on the gauge- athough the gauge itself may be/probably is a stock VDO gauge. Also the speedometer appears to be an earlier 150 mph unit from the 911sc era vs 1989 when the 160 mph gauge was used. I would assume the true miles are unknown on this car and factor that into the value of the car. The speedometer gauge is not the right one for the car.

Andrew-- Thanks. Very similar thoughts were going through my head, "I don't think I've ever seen 'Speedster' script on a guage. Time to ask my fellow Rennlisters." I appreciate the validation.

Not an issue -- I'm not considering the vehicle. Just curious about the guage, especially if anyone knows a source for a 964/993 version in black.
Thanks again! --CL

i think North Holywood speedometer could make up just about any type of face you would like.

One other thing- that is not a 964/993 gauge- that is from a 1989 or earlier car (probably 78-89 given where the redline is- I think the 1977 and prior 2.7s had 8K tachs in them)

Anyway, you can probably find a gauge on ebay or here, and yes north hollywood speedometer is great for vintage gauges. I had my 964 tach and oil temp/pressure gauges re-faced by them and they came back like brand new (speedometer didn't have same bubbling issues). The pre-964 gauges didn't peel like the 964/993 have a tendency to do.
