Default Will this Brembo rear caliper kit work on a 911?

The 914 I bought came with this Brembo 996 GT2/Turbo rear caliper kit on the rear. The trailing arm bolt spacing is 3" and the adapter thickness is roughly 1 1/4"
Will this kit also work on the rear of a (74-89) 911? What is this kit worth? It only has 1350 miles on it.

Thanks for the help!!

Steve,

That kit must be matched to a front brake package to work correctly on anything,..

It looks like 996TT calipers with Wrightwood Racing's AP rotor/hat assemblies. You'd need to measure their diameter and thickness to confirm.

That package will not fit a 911 nor 914-6 without different hats and the proper wheels to clear.

Thanks Steve for the response. Good guess!! The adapters do say WR on them. I pulled it off of the rear of my home made 914-6 GT because the rears would lock up before the fronts. The fronts are 944 turbo calipers with carrera rotors. I am running Fikse 17" rims so this kit had no problems with clearance. The hats are 322mm x 28mm. So i'm guessing these hats are only useful on a racecar since you won't be able to use the emergency brake 911 shoes.

I sell a good number of those and other such things,...

IMHO, your 944T calipers and rotors are a poor match for those brakes and certainly not recommended for any type of application. Those hats are really only appropriate for race cars where the E-brake is usually removed to save weight.

Thanks Steve!! I agree that's why i took them off of my 914 and I am currently converting the rear back to stock to get the emergency brake back. The main reason for the post is trying to find out what this kit will work on and what its worth.
Thanks again for the help!!
