Default turbo tie rod kits??? etc

Hi Guys,
Just a quick question about turbo tie rod kits and the likes. Are they all the same? Are they OEM or are some now reproductions coming out of India or similar?
I see them on ebay, but are they OK?
Where should I buy a set from?

TIA.

Pelicanparts.com. Honestly, I can't remember if it was the turbo tie rod kits, or CV boots, but I recall folks complaining about the rubbber boots not holding up very long on non-OEM stuff. Hope this helps...

Lemfoerder ( sp ) is definitely the way to go. Make sure they are this brand as they are the OEM . I think there is a small F stamped on them or a small L . My rubber boots have held up well but admitedly I am not a daily driver.

I installed turbo tie rods a few years ago. The original boots were still good after 20 years. The turbo boots are different shape.

The ones I installed lasted no more than 1.5 years. They were replaced by the outfit in Maine (Mainely Design) that sold them to me.... with OEM boots.

Oh yea, the grease covers also rotted and I got generic replacements at NAPA.

I still had to replaced the boots myself, but I did not need to remove the tie rod ends to install.

For this reason I reused the boot when replacing a CV joint rather than using a new one.

Thanks for the info Guys.
I'll take your advice and go with Lemfoerder from Pelican. Just might wait for our dollar to get a bit better.
Thanks again.

There is a company called Deutsche parts. I would stay away from them, I have only heard back things. I think they sell exclusively through ebay. Apparently they use substandard parts from China that have not been through QA/QC and the company is run out of an apartment in Manhattan or something. I was tempted by them but after googling I just went with Lemfoerder.
