Too funny. That reminds me of a few friends and I back in high school. One of our buddies had an old '67 buick convertible, and we drove down the road to go skiing one day with the top down and our ski goggles on. We got a lot of crazy looks for that one even in Michigan!

LOL! Actually, I was going to mention that a buddy of mine and I drove across the Mojave (from L.A. to Lake Havasu) in my '58 Speedster with the top down - in the middle of summer during the daytime. Now that was about dumb, but I guess we were all 22 at one time, eh?

I'm up for this game.

I'm thinking of taking the targa to work tomorrow, supposed to be in the 20's (F) in the morning. Yes here in Atlanta, haven't you heard about climate change, it's now cooling before it continues warming.

No, I'm no Moron, I'll take it with the top on, heater blasting.

Not sure if it is my age or what, but this thread makes me think that seat heaters seem like a brilliant option on all cabs/targa's etc...

I picked up my Targa from the body shop a few years ago early on a Saturday morning after she was painted on a cold December day in Dallas with snow flurries. Oh, I forgot to mention, the top was in my garage and there was no glass in the car. My friggin' face was frozen except my eyes where the goggles covered them.

Actually, that was no worse than flying my Ultralight on 20 degree mornings in the Winter-but then adrenaline and the thrill of flying overshadowed any discomfort. Man, could she climb on those cold days...
