Arrow Porsche Dealerships of forum's in the US (for used 911's)

Opps, meant to say Porsche Dealerships or forum's in the US (for used 911's)

Hello. I am in the market for my 1st Porsche 911, used. I am looking for '85-'89 model.

I have read several books and continuing my research of these cars before I lay down the money.

I have looked at a few on Ebay and a few other forums, but just wondering what else is out there on other sites or at dealerships.

If you know of a quality dealership that sells the type of 911 I am looking for please post the information. Greatly appreciate any help with this. Also, if there are certain places to steer clear of please post or private message me with that info also. Thank you for your time.

You might want to fill out where you are as the world is a big place.
Flying from one side or the other to look at cars isn't what most people do.

You should look into the classified here on Rennlist, these are some of the best Porsches around. Buying from a dealership is not always best when it comes to these cars. Better to buy private party from someone who knows the car from front to back and is educated on Porsches.

Thanks StreetFighter.

Let me just add this info. I have looked and looked locally for the right car and so far coming up short. The ones I have seen locally for sale are just plain wore out.

So, IF any of you know of any NICE '83-'89 911's in your areas PLEASE pm me or email me with info on how to get in-touch with owners who are selling. I have no problem flying out to buy a car across the country. My last car came all the way from Rhode Island. A long way from Arizona.....but it was worth it.

If you are willing to fly anywhere, check these guys: http://www.ooley-blackburn.com/
As with any exotic dealer there is a price premium, but their stuff is nice for sure & Steve Ooley is a stand up guy.

Do you have a budget price for your car? That may help determine what type,yr and condition you will find in those yr cars. I was asked the other day about selling mine and I just can't make myself come to a price I could live with and Not feel bad later. Kinda one of those glad I didn't sell it moments.
