As a brief intro, I had a 968 Cabriolet before, unfortunately written-off in an accident. As I divide my time between the UK and Germany, and am fed up of driving across Belgium, I've now decided that it makes more sense to have cheaper cars at each end. My plan is a 944S2 in Germany, which will spend most of its life on the Ring, and a 911SC in the UK (the SC being dictated by getting the latest 911 my budget will allow).

I've placed a wanted ad in the classified and am scouting autotrader in the UK and mobile.de and autoscout.de in Germany, but if anyone knows of a good SC going in the UK or Germany (RHD or LHD, I don't care), please let me know.

I've read the Rennlist 911SC FAQ, bought The 911 Buyer's Guide and The Red Book, as well as got some advice from my Porsche specialist. I'm thus aiming to find a car that's had a top-end rebuild, and hopefully a gearbox exchange/rebuild too.
