Post Gas Tank Questions

I previously posted questions about what to do with a gas tank that had been damaged by battery acid, I now have the answer:

New OEM tank = $1450
Good used tank = $450
New aftermarket tank = $300 + paint
my tank refinished = $325 (winner)

There is a nationwide franchise called RENU that blasts and recoats tanks inside and out. They even cut out the plastic bowl on the inside and replaced it with a steel one that would withstand the paint baking operation. It looks fantastic, and has a lifetime warranty.

Now for the question, my fuel pump has been hanging by the fuel line from the engine for a while, if the hose leaks, can it be replaced?

Also, I'm having problems with the pump bracket. I can't figure out how the thing is supposed to stay attached to the body. One of those little rubber isolators is stuck to the car, the other is stuck to the pump. All of the bolts are already in place. What gives?

Thanks, Ian
