Hello!
Just picked up my first 911...87 white on black, all original, one owner, all books and service records, local car from bought and serviced in Toronto, 150,000 kms!
My insurance company has requested an appraisal. Can anyone recommend an appraiser in the Toronto area.
Thanks,
-j

My insurance on my porsche 928 was $2300.00 a year Instead i got collectors insurance, You value the car. In my case its $15000 and my cost is $475 They just don't want it being a daily driver. If the damage is over 15000 they'll just cash you out.

I am in Toronto as well and had my '78 P-car appraised. The appraisers information is below:
Kavanagh Appraisal Service limited
Joe Gordon
kavanaghappraisal@rogers.com
647-283-3423
I also had a hell of a time getting it insured as they did not know how to deal with a car of that age. I finally found a broker through a buddy of mine and she is great. I posted a thread about this on the Canadian forum on rennlist.

I would think your insurance company would have recommendations (even if its a potential conflict of interest). If they are asking you for something, they should be able to help you find a way to get it done, no?)
I'm more disappointed that you didn't share a pic of your new car !
